We ate here twice in the span of 2 nights and like our experience each time. The shrimp cocktail is a must when you come here. The whipped feta app was good, but I don’t think it’s a staple. Instead, opt for the lobster tacos. They’re small, but incredible. The southwest salad was very nice. The scallops were very good, but could have been better seared. Let’s talk about the burger- Fantastic ! Get it. By far the best thing I had here and it was truly one of the best burgers I’ve had anywhere in the past few years. The cocktails were solid. Overall I love this place because it’s a nice atmosphere in a central location to the financial district and serves food late.
This place was great! I tried the shepherd’s pie, and it was super flavorful. However, it was packed with sodium and quite small, and it didn’t come with a side for $30. I probably would have gotten something else if I had known it wasn’t very filling. We left and got arancini’s at a different restaurant instead. Our bill was over $150 for two people with drinks. The atmosphere and service were fantastic, and I’m looking forward to coming back.
We went to Bostonia to celebrate a birthday. The waitress was very attentive and gave us good recommendations. We tried two of their mock tails and started with some oysters. We wanted to try the whole menu but ended up having the stuff, crab cod. The atmosphere was very nice. They sent out a lovely birthday dessert and celebration. Their s’mores dessert was so yummy!
Surprisingly good bar food. Didn’t expect much, but the clam chowder and lobster roll were both excellent. The place is also spacious. Would come back again for quality bar food.
Amazing place for dinner! We made a reservation last min but were still sat immediately. Huge place with a lot of seating, nice atmosphere- was a little loud but it was a Friday night so thats to be expected. Food- we ordered the steak frites, clam chowder, and lobster mac and cheese. Everything was great, steak cooked perfectly, mac and cheese was to die for.
Steamed Mussels had a pretty big portion size, we got the thai curry flavor and it was underwhelming. Thai curry is meant to be a bright and explosive combo, theirs lacked any of those flavors. If anything it was overly salted and overwhelmed the other flavors. We also got the pork shoulder as well, smelled delicious, the pork itself was sweet savory and crispy from the time on the grill, the sauce complemented the flavors of the pork very nicely. Only thing that was unfortunate was that it said it included chips, but the chips were just the long crispy bits on top of the plate.
My friend and I came on a Saturday for brunch before heading to an all day music festival. It just so happened to be her birthday so we decided to splurge and treat ourselves. I decided to order the short rib poutine and a side bourbon-glazed cinnamon roll. The short rib poutine was out of this world and the dish was so massive it was more than enough food for two meals. The Bourbon-glazed cinnamon roll was tasty, although a little dry. The service was friendly and attentive, and my friend‘s mom even called the restaurant and paid for our meal to surprise her for her birthday. Definitely a good brunch spot if you find yourself in the area.
Lobster Benedict was amazing! Highly recommend and the potatoes were so soft and flavorful, by far my favorite breakfast potato I’ve had. Cinnamon roll was ok a little dry but likes the flavor. The build you’re own Bloody Mary was our favorite part to our Sunday Brunch.
